N5 Entrepreneurship SECTION FOUR
I usually find I have to spend much of the time I have planned for a project in locating the right tools and materials to do the job.
When I try to involve others in a project, I usually meet with resistance, conflicting schedules and lack of support.
When I have a project to do, I take a sizeable amount of time and attack it with gusto.
My day’s activities are often interrupted by commitments I have forgotten or by unanticipated time demands from others.
1 2 3 4 5 I plan ahead and organize necessary tools and materials in advance so that I can spend allocated time directly on a project.
1 2 3 4 5 I communicate with others in advance when I need their help with a project and I involve them directly in the planning and scheduling process.
1 2 3 4 5 When I have a project to do, I analyze it and break it down into component parts, setting aside several smaller time blocks for necessary planning and preparation.
1 2 3 4 5 I practice personal planning on a regular basis and involve my family and/or business associates in weekly planning to coordinate schedules and goals.

I frequently have to apologize for being a little late or missing appointments.
I often disappoint friends or family members by failing to keep an appointment or fulfill a commitment to them.
I frequently excuse myself for not fulfilling a commitment I have made to myself or achieving a personal goal.
I frequently make more commitments than I can really handle well.

I consistently plan to do more than I actually get done, and I feel like I’m always behind.
I frequently underestimate how long things will take.
I often work frantically up to the last minute to complete a project and feel disappointed in the quality of the results.
I tend to view projects, goals and challenges as huge mountains that have to be climbed.
