Quadrant II – The Management Evaluation SECTION ONE
I often feel frustrated, wondering if I am doing what I really want to do day after day.
My life is very busy, but I often wonder how much of what I am doing really counts.
If someone were to ask me for a written copy of my lifetime goals, I could not provide it.
I sometimes get glimpses of what I should do with my life, but they somehow get lost in the busy activity of my days.
Section One Total: SECTION TWO
It is often hard for me to decide which of many things is important to do.
I am easily frustrated by changes in plans.
I usually say “yes” when anyone asks me to do something, and I feel guilty if I want to say “no”.
I nearly always feel “buried”, having more to do than I can possibly handle.
Section Two Total: SECTION THREE
I feel that other people and
circumstances control a good part of my life.
I feel worried and anxious much of the time.
I often find myself apologizing to others for losing control and reacting too quickly.
I often lose my enthusiasm for projects or goals before they are complete, or I find myself becoming frustrated if a challenge keeps going on and on.
Section Three Total:
1 2 3 4 5 I feel in charge of my life most of the time.
1 2 3 4 5 I generally have a positive attitude about my life and challenges.
1 2 3 4 5 I am usually in control of my actions and feelings, even in highly charged emotional situations and difficult circumstances.
1 2 3 4 5 I am able to see things through to their completion, and I can keep my goals in sight through challengers that last months or even years.
1 2 3 4 5 I can quickly decide what is most important for me to do.
1 2 3 4 5 I can handle changes peacefully and confidently.
1 2 3 4 5 I politely tell people “no” from time to time if I feel I cannot give a request the time and effort it deserves. I do not feel guilty when doing this.
1 2 3 4 5 I feel comfortable about the pace and progress of life.
1 2 3 4 5 I feel peaceful and confident that I am doing what I want to do in life.
1 2 3 4 5 I feel the things I do every day are meaningful and contribute to my overall goals in life.
1 2 3 4 5 I have thought deeply about the meaning of life, and have established a written set of personal goals and values.
1 2 3 4 5 I frequently review my directions in life and keep them constantly before me.
